Oregon OSHA AV Library
A Resource for Promoting Health & Safety in the Workplace
-
What is the OR-OSHA Audiovisual (AV) Library?
The OR-OSHA AV Library is a service provided by the Department of Consumer & Business Services, Occupation Safety and Health Division (OR-OSHA) Resource Center.
The library currently holds over 1000 titles in videotape, film, slides, and written materials. These materials cover a wide variety of subjects and are available for loan to Oregon employers and
workers.
-
How can the OR-OSHA AV Library help me?
The OR-OSHA AV Library provides employers and workers with training materials reflecting the diversity of occupations in Oregon and is geared toward maintaining Oregon's high standards in occupational
safety and health. Library materials have been reviewed by OR-OSHA's technical staff to ensure compliance with federal and state standards.
-
Who may use the OR-OSHA AV Library?
The OR-OSHA AV Library may be used by any employer or worker within the state of Oregon. If you are an employer or worker outside of the State of Oregon, borrowing privileges are available only
on grant program videos, subject to the approval of the AV Librarian. An AV catalog is available on request.
-
Is there a charge?
Borrowers are asked to pay return shipping costs (using traceable carriers or US Post Office-insured) for any materials they borrow. Aside from this, the service is ordinarily free of charge.
-
How long may I keep materials?
Library materials are due back at the OR-OSHA AV Library two weeks after the date they are shipped out. Reasonable requests for extended borrowing periods are granted whenever possible, but we
must receive your request for an extension before the original due date.
